Understand Workplace Expectations – They are introduced to professional behavior, customer interactions, and industry standards.

Gain Trade-Specific Knowledge – Training covers hands-on skills, business fundamentals, and what it takes to succeed after release.

Reinforce Essential Soft Skills – Time management, financial literacy, and responsibility are built into the curriculum.

Prepare for a Seamless Transition – By the time participants leave, they have a strong foundation in both their trade and the behaviors necessary for long-term success.

Phase 2. Post Release Stability (6 weeks)

The first six weeks after release are critical. This Post-Release Stability Phase ensures that reentry candidates have a solid foundation before moving into structured employment and long-term success.

During this phase, participants must:

Secure Stable Housing – Whether returning to family, a reentry housing program, or independent living, stable housing is the first priority.

Handle Medical & Wellness Needs – Set up necessary medical appointments, therapy, or rehabilitation servicesto ensure physical and mental well-being.

Develop Strong Work Habits – Begin establishing consistent routines, including early wake-ups, time management, and professional communication skills.

Find Employment or Confirm Job Start Date – Participants must either:

Secure employment independently, or

Coordinate with the program director to be placed in a job aligned with their vocational training (painting or pest control).

Utilize the AI Mentor Tablet for Daily Guidance – The tablet provides:

Daily check-ins & goal setting

Guided business and financial planning

Job readiness tracking & soft skills coaching

Start Reintegration & Stress Management – Adjusting to life outside can be overwhelming. This phase includes structured support to manage stress, avoid old habits, and stay focused on success.

Phase 3. Structured Employment (one year of continuous growth)

Maintain Steady Employment – Participants must remain employed full-time for one full year, demonstrating reliability and work ethic.

Develop Industry Experience – Hands-on experience in painting, pest control, or another trade builds expertise and confidence.

Handle Challenges & Job Stability – If employment is lost through no fault of their own, the program director assists in securing a new job.

Continue Financial Growth – Participants save money consistently, preparing for business ownership while covering personal expenses.

Utilize AI Mentor Tablet for Progress Tracking – Daily check-ins provide goal setting, accountability, and ongoing skill development.

Reinforce Business Readiness – Participants continue learning about marketing, customer acquisition, and financial management to prepare for entrepreneurship.

Phase 4. Business Launch and Grant Funding

Earn a $6,500 Grant Match – Participants who successfully complete one year of stable employment and meet financial goals receive $6,500 in grant funding to launch their business.

Utilize Personal Savings – By this stage, participants should have $6,500 in personal savings, bringing their total startup capital to $13,000.

Receive a Business Starter Kit – The grant funds are allocated for:

• 🚐 A reliable work vehicle (van or truck)

• 🛠 Essential tools & equipment

• 📢 Marketing and branding materials

• 📑 A distributor account for supplies

Ongoing Mentorship & Support – Participants continue receiving business coaching, AI mentorship, and professional guidance to ensure long-term success.

Join the Alumni Network – Graduates become part of a peer support system, connecting with others who have successfully built their own businesses. After 2 years on their own they may apply to join the program as an instructor.
